Born in Lima, Peru. As screenwriter and producer, "Pelo Malo" ( M. Rondón)- Toronto 2023- best screenplay at Torino, Mar del Plata and Sao Paulo, along with 63 outstanding awards (Golden Shell at San Sebastian) and ZAFARI (M. Rondón)- San Sebastian 2024, Prix du Syndicat de la Critique Française.
He recently premiered the feature film "Aún es de noche en Caracas" ( NETFLIX/ REDRUM, Mexico), during the activities of La Biennale de Venecia. This feature film will also be part of the upcoming Morelia International Film Festival.
Marité has also been invited to the prestigious MacDowell US artist residency (2016).
