Nadia Ayala Tabachnik

She was born in Mexico in 1978 to Argentinean parents. She lived her first six years in Mexico and moved to Argentina where she lived for 17 years, doing all her studies there (elementary, high school and university). She graduated from the National University of Film and Television of Cordoba. She has lived in Mexico since 2001, where she has worked as an assistant director for twenty years with a variety of directors. She is currently working on her own projects, both feature and short films, which she writes and directs.

Her filmography includes:  “Asoleadas” Short film (2020) Winner of the 2021 Ariel Award for Best Fiction Short Film. “Propiedad Privada” Short film (2019) Both short films have been in the Official Selection at festivals around the world, winning awards and special mentions. 

Nadia made her directorial debut with three episodes of the series “90 Minutes” which is available on Universal+. She served as second-unit director for the second season of the hit Netflix series “The Babysitter”; for the same platform, Nadia directed two episodes of the series “Amor de Oficina” , which was a huge success. She is currently filming a feature film in Colombia.
