José Miguel Núñez

Since 2004 he has been a professional screenwriter and has written in practically all genres: from comedy to horror, from documentaries to soap operas. Among the programs in which he has participated are "Descontrol" the first animated series made 100% in Mexico where he was head writer; "Difícil de creer", "Lo que la gente cuenta", "Demente", "Al caer la noche", "Pinche Pancho" and "Las Malcriadas", all broadcast by Televisión Azteca.

In 2016, he was part of the team that developed and wrote "El Vato," NBC Universo's first fiction series. This series won the International Emmy in the category of Best Non-English U.S. Primetime Program in 2018. Between 2017 and 2018 she was part of the writing team of the teleseries "Señora Acero 4" and "Señora Acero 5", for Telemundo. In 2018 she joined the writing team of "La Reina del Sur Season 2", also winner of the International Emmy. She was Head Writer of "Rebelde" and of the adaptation "Cindy La Regia" both for Netflix. He developed and wrote "Enigma" for HBO Max and is the creator of "Pinches Momias" for VIX+. He recently premiered for the Peacock platform the series "90 Minutos" where he participated as a writer. He is currently developing a series for Alebrije, a series adaptation for an American production company and finally developing a series for the producer El Estudio that will live on Netflix.
