Anna C. Grajales

Anna is a Mexican screenwriter and producer whose creative sensibility focuses on constructing stories with a fresh, intimate, and deeply feminine perspective. Her work stands out for its complex characters and emotional narrative that combines boldness, freshness, and humanity. Her productions and stories have been screened at film festivals in Mexico, the United States, Canada, Spain, and Italy.

He has written and developed feature film and series projects for studios such as Netflix, Amazon Studios, Sony Int. Pictures, WarnerMedia, Fábula, Wattpad Webtoon Studios, Alameda Films, and various international production companies.

In feature films, both original projects and adaptations, she has collaborated with studios and production companies such as Sony, WarnerMedia, Alameda Films, and Alazraki Entertainment. In television, she has developed projects with Sony, Wattpad, Fábula, All Time Worth, and Netflix, where she was part of the writing team for CINDY LA REGIA, an adaptation of one of the most successful IPs in Mexican cinema. The series had a prominent launch on Netflix, generated immediate conversation on social media, and became one of the most talked-about Latin American premieres of the moment.

He currently develops, writes, and produces projects through his production company Gatopez. This year, he is producing Se Busca Cuñada Cualquiera, starring Silvia Navarro and Marcela Ruiz Esparza, which will have its world premiere at festivals next year.

She has won screenwriting competitions such as Mex Comedy Showcase (Filmarket Hub, 2021) and Access Lab (Particular Crowd + FICG, 2022). In 2017, she was selected as one of the "30 Emerging Screenwriters" at the Oaxaca FilmFest and was the only Mexican finalist in the international SoCreate competition in Los Angeles, among more than 500 participants. She was also the winner of the Shorts Mexico Pitching competition.
