Alexandra Dunnet-Alcocer is half Mexican, half Scottish; born and raised in Mexico. Her career as a writer stems from the need to tell stories with female characters where women like her mother and sisters can identify with her.
She is a co-creator, co-writer, and co-star of the comedy series “Estas Viejas,” , which has two seasons on YouTube. She served as a writer on the Spotify series “El grupo” which ranked in the top three as the platform’s most-listened-to podcast for months.
He worked as a screenwriter and on the Mexican dubbing of the HBO series “El cuaderno Rojo” produced by RMV Enterprises. He received the award for Best Screenplay at the 48 Hour Film Project festival for the short film “Dale like y comparte” He wrote the feature film “Miss Knockout” produced by Animal de Luz. He recently premiered the highly successful “México Siniestro,” a horror podcast produced by The Maestros Cine and available on platforms such as YouTube and Spotify. He is currently developing two projects for the production company Dynamo.
