Director, writer and DP born in Tijuana, Baja California. Graduated CUM LAUDE from the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica with a major in directing.
In 2024 she became the first person to win the double Ariel for best documentary short film and best fiction short film in the same edition of the AMACC awards. His debut documentary "Norte" won at GIFF and received a special mention at DocsMx.
He has directed and written fiction and documentary short films such as "Apnea" (Winner at Cinequest, 6 Crystal Screens and Audience Award at Etiuda & Anima in Poland. Official selection at Huelva, Havana, FICM, GIFF, Kinoforum, among others), "Golden Malibu" (Official selection at FICM, GIFF, Palm Springs. Audience Award at Kinoforum Sao Paulo and Best Short Film at Houston Latino and Le chien qui aboie), "Entre las 8 y las 9" and "Calendario de reconstrucción".
In television, she directed with Everardo González the documentary series "Anatomía del mal" ( Vix). She has also participated as a director in programs such as "Stories of a generation" (Netflix) and "Mariachi Camargo" (Channel 14), as a screenwriter in "Marea Alta" ( Vix) , and as a DP in "Cenizas de la Gloria" ( Vix), "Anatomía del mal" ( Vix) and "Villamiseria".
