A Mexican film, television, and theater actress with an extensive career on the national and international stage, as well as experience as a producer, director, and multidisciplinary artist.
He began his acting training with teachers such as Héctor Mendoza, Ludwik Margules, and Hugo Argüelles. He made his stage debut at age 6 under the direction of Dimitrios Sarrás in Henrik Ibsen’s *A Doll’s House*. Between the ages of 9 and 12, he continued his acting training in New York, where he also appeared in off-Broadway productions. Since then, he has enjoyed an uninterrupted career across various media.
Among his most notable theater works are *Butterflies Are Free*, *Honor*, *Sudden Death*, *Multiple Choice*, *Electra or The Fall of the Masks*, *Memory*, *Edward II*, *The Inauguration*, *The Lambs*, *Beckett – Nothing Left to Say’ (Footfalls, Play, and Catastrophe), ‘The Fateful Fate of Karl Klotz’, ‘Hamlet’, ‘Titus’, ‘Forcados (Caput)’, ‘Flesh’, ‘The Bastard in the Hat’, ‘The Father’, and ‘The Last Days of Judas Iscariot’.
In film, she has appeared in projects such as *The Bermuda Triangle*, *Gaby: A True Story*, *The Other Family* —for which she was nominated for an Ariel Award in 2012— ‘The Incident, ’ ‘600 Miles, ’ ‘Chronic, ’ ‘The Idealists’ Club’ —which earned her an Ariel Award nomination in 2020—, ‘Microcastillo, ’ ‘Mantle of Gems’ —winner of the Silver Bear at the 2022 Berlinale— , ‘Juana,’ and ‘Psychopath: The White Rabbit Killer’.
On television, she has appeared in productions such as *Quinceañera*, *Cuando llega el amor*, *Mujeres asesinas*, *Para volver a amar*, *Capadocia*, *Sr. Ávila* (seasons I, II, and IV), *Crónica de castas*, and *Belascoarán*, among others.
With a degree in art history, Nailea Norvind is also a certified yoga instructor, a tango and butoh dancer, and the producer of the documentary *Nacido sin*, building a multifaceted artistic career that spans multiple disciplines.
