He is a film and TV director and screenwriter. His debut film "Los Bañistas", which he writes, directs and produces, won the FIPRESCI awards at the Festival de Cinema du Monde Montreal 2014.
It was nominated by the Mexican Academy of Cinematography as best debut feature of 2015. It won the Guerrero Press Award at the Guadalajara International Film Festival 2014. During its post-production stage it won awards at the Guadalajara Construye 7 Festival, as well as the First Cut Award at Ventana Sur, 2013.

filmed in Berlin and Mexico City, was winner of Guadalajara Construye 10. It participated in the EFM Berlinale 2017; within the Visions section. It was premiered internationally in the Official section of the Raindance Festival in the United Kingdom 2017. It participated in several international festivals. It received honorable mention at the Merida and Yucatan Film Festival 2017, and best director at FICCH 2018. He was part of the Emerging Talent cycle at the Cineteca Nacional.
She is screenwriter of the feature film "Esto no es Berlín", nominated for 12 Ariel 2020 awards from the Mexican Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, including the screenplay category. It was also part of the official selection of the Sundance Film Festival 2019, winner of several awards at the Malaga Film Festival, Spain and Tribeca Film Festival, among others.
His feature film project Retorno won a residency in Berlin awarded by Medienboard, Nipkow, Goethe Institute and GIFF. This same project was awarded the

For television he has directed series of different genres such as melodrama, comedy and thrillers for HBO Max, Disney+, Netflix, Vix, Sony and Telemundo. The most recent are Collision for Max to premiere in 2025 of which he is lead director, and El Dentista produced by Fábula for Vix.
He has created and written original series formats for companies such as Gaumont, HBO, Blackbox, Fábula, Endemol, Netflix, among others.
He participated as a scriptwriter in several series such as. "Freddy Larios" (dark comedy) for Amazon, Tijuana (Thriller) for Netflix, Blue demon for Sony, Los últimos análogos (Dramedy) as creator for Gaumont en Desarrollo. He is the founder of the content agency Room Service, where he has written several fiction television formats for
different clients such as VIX, Story House, Amazon, Sony, Fox and Argos, among others; focusing mainly on fiction series.
He is a founding member and sits on the board of directors of Tinta, the Mexican Association of Audiovisual and Film Writers, which brings together many of Mexico's leading film and audiovisual writers.
