He started in the world of acting in his hometown. With formal theater studies at the Catholic University of Chile, and complementary education in Spain.

He began his career as a part of popular Chilean television projects such as Pituca sin Lucas' (Pituca without Lucas)(Megavisión) and Pobre Gallo' (Megavision) and 'Pobre Gallo' (Megavision). (Megavision). Her first starring role on the small screen was in 'Perdona nuestros pecados' (Forgive our sins). 'Perdona nuestros pecados' (Forgive us our sins), production of 2017 that would earn her a Copihue de Oro as Best Popular Actress (2017). This would be followed by projects such as 'Río Oscuro' (AGTV Producciones) and 'La Jauría' (The Pack)(Prime Video), a Fábula series in which she shares credits with Antonia Zegers and Daniela Vega.

His path in the cinematographic environment began with feature films such as Hotel Zentaiby Leonardo Medel, a director with whom he had previously worked in short films and with whom he would later repeat his collaboration in the films Harem y 'La Veronica'.. This last work would earn her the award for Best Actress at the International Women's Film Festival in Aswan, Egypt (2021).

Di Girolamo also stars in 'Los Impactados' (The Impacted) (Dir. Lucía Puenzo) and Ema' (Dir. Pablo Larraín) (Dir. Pablo Larraín), a film that would travel to international film festivals such as Sundance, San Sebastián and Venice, and which would win her, among other awards, the Saint Jordi Award for Best Actress in a Foreign Film (2020) and 'El Jockey' (2020).
