Joanna Lombardi

Director, showrunner, executive producer. She led Movistar's original productions for Latin America for three years. As head of fiction for Movistar in Latam, she produced series in Peru, Chile, Argentina and Colombia. She was showrunner of the series "Un día eres joven" and "El día de mi suerte" in Peru and "Los Prisioneros" in Chile. In addition, she supervised the development of more than 10 films in Peru for the production company Tondero Films where she was also Executive Producer. As a director, in 2012 she released "Casadentro" which won the Golden Zenit at the Montreal Film Festival and FIPRESCI International Critics Award. In 2015 she premiered her second film "Solos" at the IFFR Rotterdam Film Festival and competed at the Moscow Film Festival, Isola, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, among others. In 2017, she directed her first commissioned film "Soltera Codiciada" which was a box office success and became the first Peruvian film acquired by Netflix as an Original. In 2023 she was executive producer and director of "Soltera Codiciada 2" as a Netflix worldwide original. Her latest film "Quédate Quieto" participated in the San Sebastian co-production forum in 2021, premiered in the official competition of the Malaga Film Festival (2024) and was part of the official documentary competition of the Guadalajara Film Festival (Mexico), among others.
