An executive and creative producer with more than 25 years of experience in the television industry, he has developed a career that encompasses writing, directing, producing, and high-level creative leadership. His experience covers the entire life cycle of premium series development: from conceptual creation and writers' room management to budget structuring, production supervision, and comprehensive control of the post-production stages.
He recently served as Senior Vice President, Head of Scripted at Endemol Shine Boomdog (Banijay Group), where he was Executive Producer and Showrunner for "Volver a Caer" (ViX+), starring Kate del Castillo. He also served as Creator, Producer, Writer, Showrunner, and Second Unit Director for the two seasons of the acclaimed HBO original series "Como Agua para Chocolate," earning multiple international nominations and awards.
Previously, as Creative Director at Argosmedia Group, he was part of the development and production team for iconic series such as "Capadocia" (HBO) and "Ingobernable" (Netflix). At the helm of the boutique label Headroom, he produced, wrote, and directed three seasons of "Drunk History Latinoamérica." His credits also include the science fiction series "Dani Who?" (Viacom International Studios/Amazon Prime) and "Dos Lunas," starring Barbara Mori and Leonardo Sbaraglia for Fox International Channels.
In 2017, he won an International Emmy Award for the "Olympic Suite with Alondra de la Parra" for ESPN, which he produced and directed. He also played a key role in consolidating the stand-up television scene in Mexico, producing stand-up specials for Comedy Central for six years.
