Javier Rey

Javier Rey is the man of a thousand faces.

He travels to Madrid to formally prepare himself in acting after being part of an amateur theater group.

His first works in television happened with Valderrei' (TVG)(TVG); Amor en tiempos revueltos' (RTVE)(RTVE); La chica de ayer' (Antena 3)(Antena 3); Hispania, la leyenda' (Hispania, the legend)(Antena 3); 'Bandolera' (Antena 3); 'Bandolera' (Antena 3)(Antena 3), in which she stars alongside Marta Hazas; and 'Velvet' (Antena 3)(Antena 3), giving life to a role that she would continue to play in Velvet Colección' (Movistar+).(Movistar+).

His first major television starring role comes with Fariña' (Atresmedia), a story that deals with the world of drug trafficking in Galicia.(Atresmedia), a story that addresses the world of drug trafficking in Galicia, and work for which he was awarded the Feroz Award for Best Male Performance in a Series (2019), the Iris Award for Best Male Performance (2018), and a Platinum Award nomination for Best Male Performance in Miniseries or Teleseries (2019). He later starred in 'Hache'(Netflix) and 'Los pacientes del doctor García' (TVE).(TVE).

In cinema he debuts with the comedy 8 Dates' (Dir. Peris Romano, Rodrigo Sorogoyen). (Dir. Peris Romano, Rodrigo Sorogoyen), a title that was followed by works such as Kiki, el amor se hace (Dir. Paco León); Sin Fin' (Dir. Paco León); 'Sin Fin' (Dir. Alenda Brothers). (Dir. Hermanos Alenda), which would earn him the Silver Biznaga for Best Actor at the Malaga Festival (2018); '¿Qué te juegas?' (Dir. Inés de León), which he stars in; 'Orígenes secretos' (Dir. David Galán Galindo), a superhero story; 'La casa del caracol' (The house of the snail)(Dir. David Galán Galindo), a superhero story; 'La casa del caracol', sharing credits with Paz Vega; 'La Cima' (The Peak) (dir. Ibon Cormenzana); and 'Historias para no contar' ('Stories not to tell') (dir. Cesc Gay).
