Emma Bertrán is a renowned film and television professional with a career spanning more than three decades, placing her at the intersection of production, directing, and screenwriting. Her early career in 1992 led her to work in Spanish cinema with directors of the caliber of Julio Medem, Imano Uribe, Agustí Villaronga, and David Trueba. Her talent extended to television, where she was part of the writing teams for successful series such as “Hospital Central” and “Águila Roja”
In Mexico, he has taught screenwriting at UDEM and at the MANTARRAYA Film School, and has written film projects on commission, such as the feature film *Sabrás qué hacer conmigo* by Katina Medina Mora. One of his most notable works is the co-creation and development of the acclaimed series “Un extraño enemigo” for Amazon Studios.
The feature film “The Diary”, a psychological thriller that she directed, wrote, produced, and post-produced for Amazon Studios. She is also the screenwriter and executive producer of the film “Juana”, Daniel Giménez Cacho’s debut feature, produced by Talipot Studio.
