A screenwriter originally from Hermosillo, Sonora. She wrote and directed the short film *El W.C.*, which was selected for the fiction short film category at the Guanajuato Film Festival in 2006. She entered the world of television series in 2009, writing “Bienes Raíces,” , which aired in 2010 on Once TV to great success. Since then, she has worked on several television series, including “El Vato” for NBC Universo (Winner of the 2018 International Emmy), “Paramédicos,” “Trillizas de Colores”, “Monarca” (nominated for Best Screenplay at the Pantalla de Cristal Awards) and the second season of “Luis Miguel”. She is the screenwriter for the feature film “El Jeremías” , which earned her an Ariel Award nomination for Best Original Screenplay in 2016 and won the Audience Award for Stories from Abroad at the Austin Film Festival in 2015. In 2019 and 2020, she wrote the series “Papás por encargo” for Disney+. In 2021, she served as head writer on an adventure series for HBO Max and worked as a screenwriter on the series adaptation of the acclaimed documentary “Familia de Medianoche” for Apple TV+. She developed the series “The Gringo Hunters” for Netflix, recently developed a series for Netflix with the production company El Estudio, and is currently developing another series for the same streaming platform.
