Graduated from the University of Veracruz (UV) with a degree in Theater.
Adrián Vázquez has established himself as a stage creator with a particular stamp, a voice of his own that sounds strong nationally and internationally; with a discourse that shows with strength, optimism and humor -sometimes very acid-, the beauty of the human condition and its misunderstandings. His works carry a firm and rooted stylistic line, which has earned him the recognition of friends and strangers alike.
His plays are brutal yet endearing stories, full of nostalgia and humor, poetry and rawness. Where the narrative and the dramatic coexist in a quite harmonious way. They are simple -not simple- anecdotes that touch the spectator's heart, that squeeze, violate and shake it and at the same time tuck it in, lull it to sleep. And it is for this last reason that he has collaborated closely with filmmakers such as Marco Saenz, Abe Rosenbergh, Mariana Saldivar, Tonathiu Martínez, Luis Ayhllón and Joe Rendón, among others, to turn their works into film scripts: 'Wenses and Lala', El hijo de mi padre' (My Father's Son), 'Visceral' , 'Visceral, The Man and the Heron, 'Medea Atrocious' , 'The Man and the Heron' , 'The Man and the Heron' , 'Medea Atrocious, 'La Ráfaga' , 'La Ráfaga' , 'La Ráfaga' , 'La Ráfaga y 'Los que sobran'respectively.
His experience in film and television includes titles such as El último vagón' (Dir. Ernesto Contreras); 'Todo Mal' (Dir. Issa López); 'Pura Sangre' (Dir. Noé Santillán-López); 'Elysium' sharing cast with Matt Damon; 'A Good Divorce' (ViX); 'Guerra de vecinos' (Netflix); 'Las Bravas' (HBO/Max); ‘Los Enviados’ (Netflix), 'Bunker' (HBO/Max) y 'Polvo' (Dir. José María Yazpik), a performance that would earn him a nomination for Male Co-Acting at the Ariel Awards.
